What You’ll Do as a CNA at Carewann
- Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting using CNA-trained techniques
- Perform safe patient handling, transfers, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client condition
- Prepare and assist with meals and hydration
- Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care
- Accompany clients to medical appointments when scheduled
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Document care and report observations to the supervising nurse
Requirements for CNA Jobs in Maryland
- Active Maryland CNA certification (required)
- Authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify)
- Background check
- Reference check
- CPR/BLS certification
- Negative TB test or Chest X-ray clearance
- Pre-employment health screening
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
