What You’ll Do as a CNA at Carewann

  • Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting using CNA-trained techniques
  • Perform safe patient handling, transfers, and mobility assistance
  • Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client condition
  • Prepare and assist with meals and hydration
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments when scheduled
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Document care and report observations to the supervising nurse

Requirements for CNA Jobs in Maryland

  • Active Maryland CNA certification (required)
  • Authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify)
