Registered Nurse (RN), Care Management and Clinical Supervisor (Part-Time or PRN)

Location: Montgomery County, MD and surrounding areas
Schedule: Flexible, Part-Time / PRN

Carewann is seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a part-time or PRN role focused on care management, clinical oversight, and caregiver support.

This position is ideal for a seasoned or retired nurse who is looking to continue making a meaningful impact in a more flexible, relationship-centered role.

About the Role

This role includes occasional skilled nursing visits and regular supervisory visits for caregiver oversight. It focuses on coordination, communication, clinical guidance, and mentorship.

You will serve as a clinical leader supporting both clients and caregivers, ensuring that care is delivered safely, consistently, and with a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home nursing visits and client assessments
• Provide ongoing clinical oversight and care coordination
• Support care management cases, including communication with families and providers
• Supervise, mentor, and guide caregivers in the field
• Provide training and education to caregivers to improve quality of care
• Maintain accurate, timely, and well-organized clinical documentation
• Identify concerns early and communicate effectively with the team
• Support clients with complex or evolving care needs

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license in the state of Maryland
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with clients, families, and team members
• Strong documentation skills with attention to clarity, accuracy, and organization
• Professional presentation and reliability
• Experience in home care, care management, or community-based care preferred
